Well welcome to the forum! A safe bet would be of course it's fake, and if you're trying to sell it as authentic, don't. Now if you really want to know, tell a bit about it.... Where'd ya get it? How much was it? Are the sellers reputable? Then you could throw in some CLEAR photos. Then you'll get more info from this group then you could wish for.

The strap is the least of your worries... How much does your mate owe ya? $200? Fake. 2k? Maybe real. Again ya gotta post clear pics. And if you really need to find out, ya gotta open up the back and post a pic of the engine. Your best bet is to take it to a jeweler....

Sorry, bugziec, but they're right. Google images of a Breitling Automatic Movement and you'll see that "yours" doesn't come close to comparing to the quality of a Swiss Breitling movement. Not to mention the shape of the rotor isn't correct. I can't tell for sure but I don't even think they bothered to stamp the Breitling name on it.

Too, the back of the case should be deeply engraved rather than (very) cheaply etched.
