First of all I am new to this forum, but can be found on several other forums. I joined here for the RedSea forum in particular but I'm liking the site as a whole. So that being said i'm glad to be here.

On to my question. I just pre-ordered a SS Holystone (so EXCITED!) but i'm curious as to the size of Bracelet's/band/strap. For those of use with large wrist its much more nerve racking. I'm an 8.5 will these fit? Will I be able to get extra links? Either way I'm still excited for these beautiful watches to come out. Especially when I win one, i'll be giving that one to my step dad!

Hi k2parkstar!

Glad to see you join and are enjoying this forum! Josh and I are very happy with it and can't say enough great things about the owner, the moderators, and the members!

I see you have already found out the bracelets will fit up to 9" wrists, but just in case you need any extra links feel free to contact me because I may have extra since my own wrists aren't that big!

Have a great 4th!

I am new to this forum and trying to decide on a Hollystone. I have purchased several Lum-Tecs but this style diver has my attention. Can you tell me something about the bracelet: Is it solid link, screwed or push pin? I am curious as to how rugged it is. The watches themselves look really good. Thanks!:001_smile:

Hi incontrol!

Very glad to hear (or read in this case) that you are liking our RedSea offerings

To answer your question, the bracelet and endlinks are all solid steel held in with push pin. The bracelet itself if very thick and heavy, you'll definitely know you are wearing it. It has an all brushed finished which allows you to be pretty touch on it as any scratches can easily be buffed out with a fiberglass pen/brush. As a "tool" watch, we made these choices knowing it would be used pretty hard.

Hope this answer your questions, let us know if you have any others!

all brushed and solid links = :thumbup1: I am curious will the clasp have a micro adjust? also is it a decent rubber strap that is included, I'm not expecting an isofrane or anything but is it at least thicker and semi-pliable?

Hi mngambler,

Great questions! The clasp on the bracelet does not have a diver's extension, but that is something we are looking into for future models. We are planning that all the other strap offerings will allow the watch to be worn over a wetsuit if needed :thumbup1:

The rubber is not at thick as the bracelet, but I have been wearing the sample on a watch of mine and can say it is really comfortable. It does have some flexibility to it but you can't bend it in half like a really soft rubber strap... we stayed away from that as they tend to tear easier over time.

Anyways, we are hoping to have another update coming out shortly!

Stay tuned

thanks for the quick response, although not a deal breaker for most it is a nice feature, 90% of the time I prefer isofrane, nato or leather anyways. In the future my advice would be a ratcheting clasp ala Boschett Cave Dweller, don't think I've read 1 negative comment on any forum about a ratcheting clasp :thumbup1: extremely handy for those who get out from behind the desk diving role

bringggg on the update as well
