Couldn't resist another photo:

and the photos don't do it justice - not even close!

Blue is supposed to be tiring and depressing but not this one!

It's all :001_smile::001_smile::001_smile:'s!

Brother John and Guys

I've been out all day and am now scratching my head. It isn't Shocking Blue 'cos they were a group in my day and Fr John's asking for the name of a song and the twenty questions that followed ;)

Boils down to

Blue Velvet by Bobby Vinton in 1963

or

as Fergie says

Electric Blue by The Cranberries

First time I ever heard it Fergie - very nice too I must say. That's for the tip. However I'm sticking my neck out on

Blue Hawaii by The King naturally in 1961

though Fergie could well be right.

And now over to Bro John :D:D:D

Y'all be well pals

OK I guess The King is out then.......

Well Bro John, my research indicates an R&B hit recorded by Earl Hines and Billy Eckstine ( who? ) in 1942 entitled Stormy Monday Blues. A host of artistes also recorded it including BB King, Jethro Tull and The Allman Brothers who called it Stormy Monday.

However with the picture of a shining EB hardly conjurs up a stormy scene but this is my best effort so far.

Any warmer Bro? :D:D:D

Have a nice day now :thumbup1:

Well Bro, if Uddie had been here, he'd be on to you in a flash. However as you can see, we are lacking some culture.

Hey, I hadn't heard Blue on Blue before which was the focus of your last conundrum with your Electric Blue and now realise that it's the incidental music recently used by cellphone network T-Mobile here in these islands. Like it Lots :001_smile: so thanks for that.

Have a nice day Bro
