Scottw44,

Welldone! Looks like you have been busy. LOL. Just some thots;

1)How about doing an interview (run some questionaires) with Jeff Hess and Francisco Hereira? Their current thoughts about products, company's current position and future, market trend, US and global and Swiss watch industry....etc.

2)Sign up for a domain with easier URL. Get Steve to sponsor?:D

I put it on my server until I figure out what I am gonna do with it.

And yep, working on an interview which will appear here first, and then go on my site.

I did it for me, but if people like it, I would be happy to have it on it's own URL.

Here are some links to some of my watch pictures, many of the links are pics of my Ball Watches with a few others thrown in. I want to try to get all of my watch pic links on one page so i can find them when I want to post a pic. They are currently scattered all over my server.

Scott, i do have some pics of my Ball watches but i'm not sure if there are of suitable for your site. In any case, here's 2 of them:

If u do find them useful, pls go ahead & use them for yr site. I'm leaving for HK and will only be back 8 days later. I'll not be checking in till then. Ciao! :)

Plz take a look at my little website dedicated to Ball Watch. I'd love to be able to use some of your pics, kind of a WTF page. Please post your pics in this thread if I can use them and of course credit you on the site. If you want to add your thoughts, that's cool also.

Here's the link:

Thanks fellows! I'm just back from my HK trip, i'm dead beat and its 0217hrs now in SG. I've taken some pics of my trip in HK, including the Ball watches at the AD. Once i've sorted out my stuff and pics, i'll share them with everyone here. :)

the webpage is nice. What the model of that conductor like watch. It seem to have a small round second hand and a TMT in it...

Iceheller

I wish I could help...it is on the page that I extracted the info from. I believe it has a 24 hour hand and a power reserve, probably based off of the ETA 2892.

Nothing like it in the current Ball Lineup, probably an older model, but I agree, quite cool:thumbup1:

Conductor GMT Power Reserve, limited edition of 333 pieces from 2004/5. Sold out long ago! Movement is the BALL 9035, which is also in the Trainmaster Voyager GMT Power Reserve.
Thanks for the great info. But i dun think i see any Trainmaster Voyager GMT Power Reserve in BALL swiss website... Maybe there should be a page delicated for older model watch or limited edition that has be sold out.

ok SYS and others...i think it's going to have to be standard to reveal your BALL photo taking techniques! Every time you post one of those magazine worthy pics!

haha, I "upgraded" (wife and I) to a digital Canon SD1000 from the IXUS400 --
And I STILL can't take pics even though I know it's capable of doing it! What is the secrets? Pretty please!

Didnt know u guys wanted a pic of the Trainmaster Voyager GMT Power Reserve. I saw this watch at a Ball AD in HK, should have snapped some shots of it. This is not an LE model right? Seems rather rare though ...

Brandon, i've actually posted an answer to your Qs in another Ball forum. Anyhow, there's really no special technique to it. I just point and snapped. I suppose it has got to do with the camera. Drop the Canon! :D When it comes to less favourable lighting condition, nothing beats the Fuji F20/F31fd/S6500fd for detail and quality (in the P&S category). IMO for close macro shots, u cant have the flash firing away. I normally dislike flashes as it tends to make yr pics washed out and overly white. It also destroys the ambience. In such circumstances, u'll need to rely on high ISO to capture as much detail and light. Some of my lume shots are taken with hand held only. Just my 2 cents.

I'll practice and practice more! Yep, I have to turn off the flash and turn up the ISO. I think I also have to get a steadier hand or shoot from a tripod on auto shoot until I get better! I hope you guys will notice when my pics (ambience and settings) improve! At Christmas time I bought our family the Pentax A300 (read all the reviews and saw the macro pics it produced :thumbup1:), but my wife had final say as the Canon was slimmer for her purse. :crying:

Ladies, often a sucker for slim, sleek and cute devices !

Brandon i think u'll be better off using a tripod with the Canon. Most other cameras cant produce usable shots beyond ISO 200. The noise grain and loss of detail is pretty significant but u can try using one of those noise reduction s/w (Noise Ninja for example) as a post processing cleanup. Hope it helps.
