Just wondering Pals

What the best deal you ever had on a watch was?

Buying experience only please. We can work out the gains or otherwise in another thread.

In terms of discounts my best deal has to be that De Ville Co-Axial Byzantium. The AD had a sale on in the spring of 2006 and I snapped it up at 40% discount.

And you guys?

Y'all have a nice day pals

WOW! I never fall into deals like that one. Congrats.

Thanks Thomas

I got lucky there but really should have gone for the Speedy that was on offer at 40% as well. It was either a 3573.50 ( Sapphire Sandwich ) or 3576.50 ( Moonphase ). However back then, I hadn't come round to appreciating what a special watch the Speedy Pro is.

Wish you a good day

Glad you're enjoying it to the full pal :thumbup1:

I had a good deal on that one too and as you know, Omega made it even better by substituting those wider-lume'd Railmaster hands.

Be well now

Holy Omega Batman!!!!!!! That has got to be the best AT pic I've ever seen:thumbup1::thumbup1::thumbup1: It looks like the watch has no crystal.

BTW the best I've ever done was 30% off msrp for my 3570.50 Speedy:thumbup:

Interesting that you should be able to obtain the chronometer certificate with a watch sourced through a gray dealer Sam.

Mind you I've been the happy and grateful recipient of Omega's assistance with watches sourced elsewhere before. IMHO customer service at Omega really means customer service.

Be well my friend

Even if you're making me mildly wish I had hung on to that watch now.... :001_rolleyes:

Never mind, it's receiving TLC up north at Rick's Place :thumbup1:

Preowned watch best buy

This watch, the 1981 La Magique, issued in less than 1,000 pieces total

2.6mm thick and completely see through

Purchased two years ago for less than 50% of the 1981 original cost
Sold at Omegamania for over 250% of that amount

Wow Sam

You have one of these?!!!

Saw it as I'm sure you did too, at Omegamania. Dinosaur ( spl? ) was the other amazing " Size 0 " model.

Hope you're well pal
