Are you a fashionista?

There was a time when I was new to all this that I would not be too keen on having a watch that was discontinued. Sounds silly, doesn't it? Makes me out to be a fashionista or something like that. Not anymore I hasten to add.

It seems that's what they do in Japan where you see many discontinued models being offered on that place by the sea. One can therefore pick up relative bargains or used to as it appears.

Are you fashion conscious? Would you be ready to trade up an old model for something new or do you keep a watch for love? ;)

Let's talk pals

Y'all be well now :001_smile:

Trade up my trusty 2254.50 for something new just beacuse it may be discontinued? Heck NO!!! Although...I am ALMOST finished painting my house (and in an old thread indicated I would treat myself to a new Omega as a reward) so....plus, I am headed to Hawaii (Maui) next month for a few weeks so would LOVE to have a new addition on the ole wrist (PO ?/ Speedy?)...but a fashionista? No way....I also have my 1951 Seamaster which looks so good when worn with a suit at a formal event..so to make a long story short, I keep my watches out of PURE LOVE and enjoyment! :001_wub:
