New to this forum, but I am hoping someone might be able to tell me something about this watch - the watchmaker looks to be A. Nosking Co? I have had this a long time - it was a gift and I believe it was purchased in Russia. I don't have any other information.

Would you mind opening up the case back and uploading a good clear photo of the movement along with the inside of the case (if there are any markings)? I'm thinking the case is hinged on one side. Are there any markings on the back of the case ?

So far I have not found any trademark reference to A Noskin or A Nosking & Co.

This is so nice of you to take the time. Here are the clearest photos I managed of the interior. There do not appear to be any markings on the back or side of the case exterior.

I'm not having any luck finding anything on that trademark logo (middle of 3 symbols inside the case back) nor have I found anything on the name on the dial. This might be a good one to post over on the NAWCC forum . If you do, please let us know what they have to say. I can tell you that the watch has been serviced at some point (magic marker inside the case back).

PS.... they may ask for a clearer photo of those 3 symbols inside the case back and of the movement itself.

OK, thanks for trying! I did manage to find out that the watch is likely Russian or with some association with Russia, because the "56" mark is an imperial gold measure for gold = 14K. I'll try the other forum you mention and let you know.
