Considering this watch, which the seller acknowledges will need a PP service (including some light refinishing)---the price reflects that. I just want some more expert eyes to confirm my hunch that this a legit 5107G and not some back-alleyway-special.

Any input will be much appreciated!!!

We will not confirm your hunch with only a couple photos to look at, when what you need is a hands-on examination/evaluation. BUT.....I'm seeing some clues that make me suspect the watch in the picture is NOT a counterfeit. I'm seeing levels of craftsmanship that 9 out of 10 counterfeiters consider beyond the point of being cost-effective to reproduce or not worth the effort. If it's a copy, it's an astoundingly good one.

Appreciate the feedback---and yes, I should acknowledge that I take the guidance of this forum for what it is: there are limits to what one can do with only a few photos (vs handling the piece). I just wanted a little more photo-analysis if possible, so thank you for providing it! Any other takers?
