Hi, am new here and firstly I must say these Lum-tec watches ARE amazing! And secondly I can't wait to receive my LT M57...it looks awesome. And am as blind as a bat but thankfully my radar is pretty good lol. Own 2 Breitlings which are awesome, but am as excited about this watch as ever I was about buying any other time piece. Why didn't I discover these guys before????

Congrats and welcome.

I just "discovered" Lum-Tec as well. I'm a relatively new Lum-Tec owner and now have two with a third on order.

It seems it is almost impossible for an avid watch collector to own only one.
Not many other watch brands have that ability or affordability, it allows middle class people to become watch collectors too

Congrats mate, as a fellow M57 owner I have nothing but high praise for both the watch and Bes at Lumtec who will go above and beyond to make you a satisfied customer. Personally the thing that swayed me towards the M57 was its orange lumes which are wicked.

P.S.
Could I recommend a strap that I feel matches the lumes near perfectly and super soft, its a C&B strap and on checking is only $14 at the moment.

I started with a M27 GMT Tungsten, now have a Super Combat B1, and have a bronze M53 on order. I also have a Super Avenger and a few other watches.

Congratulations on a nice choice! You can't beat Lum-Tec quality and service. No question about it, you will enjoy owning and wearing a Lum-Tec watch!

Luminated, thanks for the link to the C&B strap deals. I will order a couple for my watches. Cheers, Bill P.

The epsilon strap looks great...will wait for my M57, and then get one. At that price tho, I may even get one before the watch arrives!
Here's mine on my M57 to let you see just how close in colour the match is.

In my opinion it's even a better match than the one that comes with the watch and it's far more comfortable.

Jeepers, that's a great color match to the numbers, and the band/strap looks substantial in terms of thickness too...am just so excited to receive mine (watch) but no idea how long it takes for delivery...but don't care as the longer I wait, the more excited I get lol!!!! Thanks for the pic. Will post a pic of mine when I get it along with my other watches too. Nice to know that people on this forum genuinely appreciate well designed and well built watches...with awesome customer service too...Lum-Tec are looking at whether the number 62 is still available for me. Can't believe it!

^Yeah I reckon you'd have a hard time finding something that matches the lumes this well, plus you have the option of regular or long which is a great for me as regular is a shade too small for me to get comfortable. The wonderful thing about the M series, it's 24mm lug size means the worlds your oyster regarding strap choices and there's countless affordable options out there like C&B and Panatime.

Though I don't wear mine to work (hate the thought of damaging the PVD) the day doesn't feel complete if I don't wear it at some point, that's when you know a watch has got under your skin. LOL

Good looking strap there Bill. Brown straps really do work well with the face colours. Am waiting for my watch to arrive now, apparently comes with 3 straps but wasn't sure if changing the straps is something I can do myself or whether I need to get it done by a watch expert each time?

IMHO strap changes are easy

small strap tool widely available
there will be much opinion on what brand
i have several cheapies that came w/ various kits i have bought
one tip broke, but it came w/ 2 spares

Bergeon is considered the best, but i never got around to buying one

changing straps lets you totally change the look of the watch
i have Isofrane (black & orange), Hornback, silocone (orange, black & blue) digital camo, natos, zulus and a custom leather and canvas inbound

Straps are a inexpensive (well sometimes :) way to play around w/ your watch(s)

DONT put 24mm tubes on your watch, Bes will have to cut them off for you :(
(tubes are common on some straps, goes in tunnel on strap, then springbar goes inside)
24mm tubes on a 24mm lug will fit BUT no room to remove em...

enjoy buddy

Thanks Bill, was going to post pics when I got my LumTec, along with my other watches, but sadly there was something wrong with it when I received it but the guys at LT being v good have asked me to return it to sort the issue out. In the brief time I had it though, it does look bl**dy awesome but straps will have to wait a bit...oh well such is life...for now!

My LumTec now in perfect working order thanks to the guys at LT, no questions, and they were brilliant! And already have had 3 people spot it and comment on what a good looking watch it is - one of them was a geologist too! And another thought it was a Panerai for a split second lol! Fantastic watch and well worth the wait. Now for those straps!!!!
