I did not think so either; but, today, I thought I saw an AK w/ a date (no inner scription on the bezel). I must be working to hard......

And trying to get a SB ticket. Kills me. As a fan of football, the fan is left out. :cursing::crying: :crying: :cursing: The fans who have season tickets do not get tixx to the SB; yet, other sports, baseball, hockey, and basketball do get to go to the big games.

I can't complain, as I have been to a few in the past; but, being 18-0, I really wanted to see this one. Guess I will have to get a Snickers bar. Not going anywhere for a while? ;)

You just don't 'know' the right prople...  :thumbup1:

Yea, I agree on the season tickets thing, but then again considering a sell-out season is usually 80% of the stadium being season ticket holders, if you add the 2 teams together that's too many people for the number of seats... I do know there is a pool of tickets for the season ticket holders of the winning teams to lottery out as they see fit (weighing in season ticket years, etc.). I believe it's 15,000-20,000 for both teams. And the other teams get a handful to lottery out as well. By the time it's all done, there's not a bunch left for the fans...

I feel lucky as I've had numerous opportunities to go too. In fact, I get them about 2-3 years out of 5.... And I horde them like the last piece of Halloween candy.... :glare: First one I ever went to was SuperBowl XIX. It was the perfect SB. I lived 8 miles from the SB Stadium (Stanford) and was an avid SF fan. To have the SB for your team held locally is just the ultimate fan-fest IMO! In fact, I believe it's the only SB where one of the participants was local to the SB location. At least I can't think of any others in recent history. Anyone?

You can live vicariously through me timefinder, I'm going to the game, my flight out is Wednesday cause I could get a thursday or friday flight, but I'm staying 30 miles from the stadium and have a rental car not bad for planning the trip just yesterday

Look I'm not particularly rich or trying to be a spoiled sport, I just happen to have gone to high school with the VP of group sales for the Pats. I don't have a lot of high profile connections so the few I have I tend to brag about, my apologies!!!
