Hello all-

This is my first post here. I am looking for a sporty/chronograph and stumbled upon Chase-Durer out of Beverly Hills. I read that they were known to make 'military' watches for pilots. I was looking at the Mach 3. I've read from several review sites where some people complained about the band having to be replace in 2-3 years. First of all, has anyone has any experiences with these watches? Are they a good buy? Are they just another online watch company? The website makes it seem legit and the watch is pretty cool looking.

Any feedback would be useful. Thanks.

Hi beagle. I have a C-D Thunderbirds chrono that I love. C-D is quite a legit company and their watches are carried by dealers and boutique in many places. While you can purchase directly off their website, you will probably pay full MSRP. It is worth your time to visit their website and if you find a few models you like, Google them to find some online dealers that may have a better price. There is a TV shopping network that carries them with discounted pricing.

Hi and welcome. I have never owned a Chase-Durer, but I have always heard good things about them, including very positive comments from my watchmaker Old Grumpy, who is very straight forward and critical of junky construction.
