I have a men's accutron that was reintroduced in 1991. I cannot find the watch anywhere online but I do see it in a print ad from the period. It is model 28B05 and the back of mine is the number 522257. Someone has it listed on Ebay for a very high price and indicates that production was halted. Can anyone tell me about the watch. Is it rare? Is it valuable? What do you think? Mine has a black accutron croc band.

This is a long shot but there is a Bulova Museum in the Empire State Building. See Bulova Museum. I collect Accutrons and they have helped me identify specific watches in the past. Give them a call or use the email address at the site.

I'm also inclined to say that if you have this watch, or something similar, open the case and check the insides. I suspect you will find a quartz movement, not a tuning fork type movement
