Hello
I've been collecting vintage watches since the mid 80s. Recently my watch repairmen passed away.
So I'm in need of a good repair shop, I live in Los Angeles but I'm certainly open to working with someone out of state.
Could any one refer me to a good repairmen ?
Thank you

1) Check with your friends, relatives, and co-workers for anyone they can recommend.
2) Google local and California watchmakers that advertise professional training (like the American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute, National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors, Inc., NorthWest Horological School. etc.
I just kept giving my local watchmakers simple jobs until I found one I was happy with.
