I orginally purchased this M6 214 to be used as a parts watch, but when it arrived today I decided to add it to my collection. The movement is humming along and is keeping accurate time. After a bit of grime and scratch removal, added a leather band and this old fellow cleaned up pretty well!:001_wub:

That's way too nice to be a parts watch. I sympathize. I have a Pulsometer movement and dial that should be in a gold case but is in a stainless one. I assume that the original case was probably melted. I have purchased several gold watches to cannibalize them for the case but, when I got them, decided they were too nice to use that way.
