Just thought I'd give you an update on my first Invicta.

I still love it after a week. It's the most comfortable watch I've ever owned, and I'm really enjoying the flood of compliments. I barely remember what my other watches look like.

The bezel loosened up a bit after some toying, but it's still rather stiff. Not a big problem for me since I'm not a diver. It does seem to consistently run 20 seconds fast per day, so I'm going to have it regulated after about a month of breaking in. Does that sound right?

It's going to look even better after some wear.

Thanks to all for such a fun forum!

Nice...love mine too. It's been breaking in while sitting on a winder for a few weeks now. I've never bothered to check it carefully but I do think it's running a bit fast as well.

20 seconds per day fast doesn't even bother me. I doubt I'd ever pay to have mine regulated.

Enjoy. #2 on the way soon I bet! ;)

I've noticed that the Sellita SW200 runs a bit fast the first three weeks or so then slows down to pretty good accuracy.I love the 9937,I wear mine everyday to work in the brewhouse,it's wet all the time and undergoes vigorous activity and still looks new and works like a charm after a year.

That's good to hear, Triton. I'll be patient for a few more weeks.

Delighted you love your watch. It's a classic.
Thanks! I think what surprises me most is how comfortable it is. It's the only watch I own that can stay on my wrist all day. I have a Sector 750 that's way too heavy and chunky, an ESQ with an uncomfortable band, and a couple of gift watches that just don't quite fit properly. I'm much happier with the 9937 than anything I've ever owned.

I'm also wearing it all day to a) make sure it stays wound, and to b) keep it available for compliments. :001_smile:

Lmao you guys are bad, Ive had my finger on the trigger when it came to the 9937, now I just might have to pull it. Im going on a cruise in 2 months and I think that watch might have to go with me.

Hi, fast2live. Don't let me sway you or anything (subliminal  ),but I think you'll be VERY happy with the 9337. (subliminal  ) This watch has caused me one very small problem, though...I'm having a REALLY difficult time picking my second Invicta because I don't want to take this thing off! (subliminal  )

I say pull the trigger! You're going to love it.

- Classic styling
- Rolex-type bezel with lume dot
- Swiss SW200 movement
- Top-not bracelet
- Exhibition back
- Transitions perfectly from casual to dress, IMHO
- The best value for the money I've seen in a watch

Enjoy it! (overt  )

It is a nice watch, I've had mine for several years now with no problems.
It had settled down to +10 secs/day although I have not been able to wear it regularly.

I've also made mine an all brushed finish.

VERY sweet look, lotramos! I'm still waiting to see what mine looks like after a little wear, but I really like the all brushed look.
