I just bought my first Invicta, a 9937 with coin bezel. The watch runs beautifully, but has a major (in my mind) cosmetic defect: a crooked cyclops! It's annoying enough to me that I'd like to send the watch in to have the crystal replaced. I see this as a defect in craftsmanship that should be covered under warranty. I don't know if Invicta will have the same opinion. Has anyone had experience with this? What do you recommend I do?

Of the 3 I have only one is Perfect (the one with the ETA movement)

The other 2 it's off the 3:00 position it's more like at 3:10??

If I stare at it it bothers me a little but when I go to read the date it's being out of position actually helps as I don;t have to turn my wrist as far to read it.

If it was WAY off I would send it back... but if it is just a few degrees off i would try to forget about it. TRY being the operative word.

The cyclops isn't off the 3:00 position like it seems to be with yours. It's right over the date window, but rotated a few degrees clockwise. Since the watch is new, I'm thinking about waiting a few weeks for the movement to settle down and then send it in to Invicta to get regulated (I expect it to run fast out-of-the-box, from the reviews), and at that time I would also request that they replace the crystal. Invicta's service center will regulate their watches upon request, right?

For a nearly $400 watch, I don't expect a Rolex, but it should be free of obvious defects like a crooked cyclops! What I'm worried about is that I might get it back in worse shape than I sent it in...

Since the watch is new you might want to contact the seller. See if they will replace the watch for you.
