November 5, 2009:

...being announced tonight at a big gala event in Paris. I am sure more info and pictures will follow.

Here are some unofficial specs.
Height - 5.35mm
Diameter - 29.6mm
Power reserve - 65hrs (58 hrs when chrono is engaged)

Patek Philippe decided to use this new completely in-house made manual
wind chrono caliber
for the first time in company history - in a ladies watch (model 7071)

While the introduction of this revolutionary caliber in a ladies watch is not something that a majority of
forum hopping WIS enthusiasts expected - it is a MAJOR point in the history of Patek Philippe.
With gradual elimination of Nouvelle Lemania ebauche based calibers (references 5020, 5070, 5970, 5004 etc),
and the introduction of a first in house automatic chrono in 2006 (CH 28-520 IRM QA 24H) in 5960P.....this was
something that many PP collectors were awaiting for a long time.
