A friend bought a SS Datejust from a reputable dealer, question is the six and nines in the date window are not fully closed, I am not an expert but I've owned a few Rolex watches and his seems to be the real deal. Serial number dates it to be 1989-91, I am trying to get him to send me some pics but does anyone know of rolex not using closed six and nines in the date window. Thanks in advance.

I am not sure of the 6 & 9; but, from my understanding, the fours on some models are like that. Some open, some closed. Others may know more about the 6&9s on the Daytona.
