Hi there- I've been learning quite a bit about vintage watches (mostly Hamiltons) the past several months and I have the opportunity to buy this well worn but nice old Longines.

It's obviously got a pretty severe patina to the casing and dial, but I might wear it as is. I really like the bracelet/band.

Your thoughts? 40s? The seller is a nice guy and I trust that this will be a good runner.

What would you pay for this? What's the model? Thanks for looking my friends. - Skylar

I'd have to wait before saying too much about it. The case has seen better days. Also, we'd have to know which movement is inside and what kind of condition that movement is in.

It is a 40's or 50's model. The dial has been refinished some time ago. I'd guess the case is gold filled instead of solid gold. Given the condition it's in I'd pass, but if your set on buying it I wouldn't pay more than $100. If you plan on wearing it, it's going to need a service most likely.
