Here are some photos of my 3824. It is my daily wearer with lots of scuffs. So I took the bracelet off and brushed the top of the bracelet and the case withe a Scotchbrite pad. It really cleaned it up and is alot easier to maintain than the original brushed / polished look.

Well done, it looks just like mine. Looks way better IMO and if you scratch the bracelet you just do it over again. When I did my 3824 I went over it after using the Scotch Brite with 400 grit wet sand paper (make sure it's wet). It gives an even nicer look to the brushed finish.

I thought about the sandpaper after talking to the jeweler, but I think I actually prefer the rougher finish of just scotchbrite. It leaves no room for doubt on whether or not the finish is brushed. To each his own I guess
