Hello everyone! I was wondering what that blue part above what I believe is the transistor was, I think I haven't seen it before. This watch looks to be a genuine 1966 swiss spaceview (M6 on the back) but I don't know about this part. Any ideas? Does it look genuine to you? I was thinking maybe...

Hi all, curious what P/Ns folks are using for replacement capacitors in 214 movements. I've pored through this forum for answers and nothing jumped out at me. In a recent project, I've had the bad luck of having seemingly bad electronic circuits in not one, but two component coils. Verified my...

Hello there! I am new to this forum, I came across it while trying to get some information about the spaceview model since I kind of want to buy one, it's been a few years I've had it on my mind and I think now is the time. So I discovered only a few days ago that most of those for sale are...

Hi everyone ... Just a question... If the word "astronaut" was only introduced on the accutrons in late 1962, how could the 1961 Accutron Gold 18KT "astronaut" (M1) exist? I can't understand ... maybe I missed a part of the accutron story.

I just got my 1963 space view 214, and I have the hour and minute hands set correctly but my second hand is about 40 seconds behind my phones clock which I was trying to set it to. Is there any way to set the second hand, it just kept sweeping when adjusting the other hands.

Hi all, hoping you can help me with a newb question. I have a pair of Spaceview T double cushions, but I'm pretty sure both of them have swapped movements. Is it true these should both have the gold-plated pillar plate? I've been trying to read through all the movement number posts on this...

Hi, I am a new member and this is my first post. I have really taken an interest in the 214 Accutrons in the last year and have started a nice collection of mostly Spaceviews. I'm a Boomer myself and they remind of my childhood when I thought they were the coolest thing ever but could not...

Have a Bulova Accutron 2181 N3 10k gold watch with the original 10k gold Speidel twistoflex band. At the 6 o'clock or bottom end of the watch case is a large symbol which swirls counterclockwise which looks similar to the @. It is more like a large C with the top end of the symbol swirling...

I must hesitantly tell my story because I feel that it needs to be told. But please understand, this is not a slander or rant. It is an unfortunate outcome regarding someone who has posted here in the past, and in my internet search led me here as a forum for these particular watches. Last...
