I haven't posted in a long time because I had nothing to say, but I just bought a new Fireman Night Train II. I have long been attracted to the Ball lume and I wanted a watch I could really see at night. The superluminova in my Rolex just does not cut it in the winter because the watch never sees sunlight.
OK, the movement is a mediocre ETA movement, but mine is consistently running +2-3 seconds per day, which is COSC quality. I doubt it will require any more service than my Rolex has.
I was not sure how I would feel about a rubber strap, but I like it because I just do not care about it. I sure do not have to treat it like fine leather.
But the watch just looks so cool at night, I cannot get over it. I have a couple of Luminox watches, but the Ball is much brighter.
I wish I had bought a Ball watch years ago.
