Nice group shot of the Hamilton Trench Watches I've been wearing this week.

    Hamilton 981 w/ 17 jewels, Hamilton 981 with 17 jewels and the Hamilton 985 with 19 jewels.

All are housed in 34mm Fahys sterling silver cases with the correct factory crowns.

Today, I'm rock'n the 981 in the center of the pic.

Getting THREE Hamilton Trench Watches in the same room is NOT an easy task!!!!!!!

Today's carry is this Watham Premier Grade 223 from 1940. Though some don't care much for these late Wathams, it is a great looker and there's no disputing how well it runs. They only made 10,000 of this grade, not too many at all.

Mid 50s Elgin Datemaster. Trying to find a bit more about this line. As for this one, the date snaps over nicely a few minutes before midnight and it keeps good time. I'm guessing debuted in the mid 50s along with Elgin's other Swiss source autos, but I don't see it in the 54 o4 55 catalogue and definitely haven't seen an ad for it.

Thanks for asking. Been battling a flair up of my immune disease since July. Some days I feel good, other days wiped out. As a result, a lot less posting. On the other hand, I have quite a few watches I need to work on and should have more to share in the future.
