Just finished up the restoration on this one so I'm rock'n it for Friday.

Only mechanical repairs were done to this piece, nothing cosmetic.

This is a 9k solid gold 1914 WWI Waltham Trench Watch.

9k solid gold Dennison case with the original factory crown.

Birmingham date latter code of "Q" for 1914.

Enamel shadow box military dial with much of the original lum still in-tact on the dial and hands.

Big size 0s version, 15 jewels, grade 165.

This piece is an amazing 103 years old!

Those Dennison cases are SOOOO sweet!
I actually like the hinged casebacks... too bad many get worn or broken off over the years.
    This one is super!

1915 WWI Elgin RED XII Trench Watch.

ONLY 500 of These Grade 423 Movements Were EVER Made.

17 Jewels, Size 3/0s, DOUBLE STOCK Gold Filled Illinois Case, Factory Crown, Leather Kitchener Strap.

Solid gold center wheel, solid gold raised jewel chatons and solid gold balance wheel screws.

This high grade movement is seriously the RAREST of the RARE!

This is the 284th one made out of the 500 that were produced.

Out of the 2,000,000 size 3/0s movements that Elgin made from 1914 - 1933 only 500 of them were made with 17 jewels.

That means that only 1/4 of 1% of ALL Elgin size 3/0s movements were made like this.
