    STEINHART Ocean 44 GMT

This is a great looking watch built in a rather rigid way. The watch was bought brand new specifically for this particular project. No bead blasting or further refinishing has been done so to preserve its original look and feel for the curve. It incorporates several different finishes: satin, polished, and bead-blasted.

I do hope you will enjoy the pictures to follow...

Definitely not German, but most definitely a awesome job. You're good at refinishing man. I really like that watch.

Very nice but the 44 is just a bit too much for me in size. I have an Ocean One in black that I put a ceramic bezel on and tinkered with until it runs +/- 1-3 seconds / week, usually on the + side. I'm curious, do you guys say they are not German because of the Swiss movements or are there other reasons?

    Thanks,

    Ard

Let's call it a German hybrid...a German company with manufacturing facilities located in Switzerland.

Sweet watch. Looking at Steinhart. Seem like good value for a Swiss automatic.
