Post Invicta 9211 Crown and Stem Replacement

Hi, I am missing the crown and stem (screw-down) on my Invicta 9211. Probably my 11 yr old playing around. Is there an after-market replacement available for this. The $58 charged by Invicta is quite steep considering the value of the watch. Thanks in advance for your advice

Your right for the cost, its just not worth it to send back to Invicta. Check out Esslinger Jewelry Supplies Tools Watch Parts & all Jewelry Findings Watch Bands they have tons of parts available but I've never attempted to replace a stem or crown so I'm not sure how difficult it will be. Take it to a local guy, it may even be cheaper than buying the parts. I hope everything works out. Let us know what happens.

Sorry to tell you, but it is unlikely you will be able to replace the stem and crown for less than Invicta is charging, unless you can get them to send you the parts. That being said, you can buy this watch new for about $70, so unless it has some great sentimental value to you, I would just get a different watch.

Hi...thanks for the info. It does seem like a good site in general. Will try with a local guy and check if it makes any sense. I do agree with Aladin Sane's comment that it might just make sense to pick up another one.

Quick update. Had my local watchmaker put in a new crown and stem for $15. Does not have the Invicata logo, but works and looks good.

That's good to know and remember. (Not that I'm saying don't come here for help but...) We should never be reluctant to get on the phone to our local watch repairman and ask if a certain repair or replacement job is possible for him to do.
