Trying to identify some parts in my dad's estate... he was usually really good about organization but I found a box marked Metric Gauged Sweep Second Hands with these two types of parts in them, but they don't look like second hands to me!
Any thoughts as to what they are? Thanks in advance! Cheryl

The items in the left picture are winding stems and in the right picture they are seconds hands. Those seconds hands are likely for watches or pocket watches with sub-seconds (seconds hands usually at the '6' position).

The winding stems in the left-hand photo would be more recognizable if they had their knurled knobs (called CROWNS) screwed into them.
And here's a good shot of a Longines wrist watch displaying its subsidiary seconds hand, like the ones in the right-hand photo.
