    Default Waltham Electrodyn Not Working

Just was handed a Waltham Electrodyn Swissonic Incabloc 13 jeweled watch. It was my father's who passed away 35 years ago and was sitting in a box for that long without a battery. Took it to a watch guy and he said there is a winding spring missing and it can't be fixed since parts are hard to find. Don't know much about watches but the spring goes above the silver wheel I think that controls the movement. Was wondering if there is any way I could replace the insides to get this working again? Popped the backed off and it says it is a B460 9154. I am including some pics. It is in pretty good condition for it's age. Thanks for any help you all can give me.IMG_20190515_105237642_BURST000_COVER_1557932237106.jpgIMG_20190515_105237642_BURST000_COVER_1557932237106.jpg

I don't anything about the watch. I also think you might get more help if you can provide pictures that are more in focus. Really can't tell anything with the pics provided. Sorry

It sounds to me like that watch guy gave up on you rather quickly. If nobody here familiar with that movement answers, I would:
    1) Take the watch to a different watchmaker and get a second opinion about it getting fixed, or
    2) Buy a similar watch from eBay (there are several Swissonics right now for under $50) and sacrifice it for the spare parts it will provide for you.

    Good luck

Thanks for the help everyone. I may just have to buy 1 on eBay and see if I can get it going.
