The Limited Edition Devil Diver is advertised as 40mm and the others seem to be the larger 44mm+

    * I wonder why these LE Divers haven't sold out yet? You can buy them new on ebay and Amazon and probably other places as well for ($1050-$1300). If they really only made 666 of them and they are numbered, they should have sold out long ago.

SM2, that is the price depreciation I am talking about really. $1495 on bulova and then $1085 on ebay. Perhaps this is a grey market issue. The vintage orange oceanographer sells around $500 from sold listings I saw.

Yes the Amazon price is $1300.00 (currently) and most ebay listings for new ones are $1050.00+-.

Pricing of most new Bulova watches seem to do the same thing. Expensive retail when its released when the frenzy buyers put in pre-orders but after a year or two the price is 40-70% off. Like this one.

Imagine what the price will be on those Computrons in a year or two if they will Retail for $295 & $395.00.

The prices for new Bulovas are are weird and crazy. My 232 Khz Accutron ll Lobster 98B247 MSRP was around $500 and they are still on ebay for $250 to $500 and I bought it NIB for $175 2 years ago. I think it is a great watch, but knowing what I know now, I would never pay full retail on one; even a limited edition one (ie LE Devil Diver). Or wait for some guy to buy it and wear it a few times and pay 40%-50% of new.

One of the new computrons are hitting the auction block. Price is steadily rising. (not my listing)

Even these two aren't dumb enough to bid up that watch.

Well there are two people bidding. One is a shill bid due to only 1 bid history. One has lots of feedback. I suppose your meme has become reality?

As someone who grew up on $10 metal-cased l.e.d. watches, all I can do is shake my head in disbelief.

I hope it's at least stainless steel and not chrome or plated...
