I started out my watch collection with older Accutrons. This was my first:

    a 1964 214 Spaceview

Have had many others in and out, but only have the Spaceview and this 218
1979 666 Deep Sea Diver today.

Always keep them running and both are spot-on accurate.
The only problem, as most of us vintage Accutron folks know, is when things like the coil or the index wheel need replacing.
Have had the wheel replaced once on the 214, but, knock on wood, the 218's been fine.
Saw a couple gorgeous 214s yesterday at a local GTG, so nice to see all the collectors out there with them.

The Spaceview with the internal chapter ring is cool. We have a few hummer fans here.

The one I saw yesterday was identical to mine, but absolutely pristine. Wish my internal chapter ring was as nice as his was. Don't think there's much that can be done with them.
