Default Bulova News - New model w/ VJ 7751!

The Bulova Cambridge has arrived with extraordinary movement

    August 18, 2008
For men who appreciate precise automatic movement without forgoing style, the new Cambridge Collection offers chronograph functions while encased in a stainless steel tonneau-shaped case. It shows the day, month, and moon phases with day/night function. The Bulova Cambridge also has a top of the range Valjoux 7751 movement, shrewdly combining elegance and the art of watchmaking.

Swiss made, this stainless steel watch reflects the dynamism of the modern man. The bottom of its case is transparent with four screws, and the face is covered with a curved sapphire crystal surrounded by a gleaming metalized edge. The watch has a brown alligator strap with a deployment buckle closure and is water resistant up to 50 meters.

The Bulova Cambridge is also available with a white dial and a maroon bracelet or with a black dial and an alligator strap.

That is a very nice looking Bulova. Any idea what the price point is?

With that movement and Swiss Made you can bet it won't be cheap.
My "ballpark estimate" is 2 grand.

The US market probably wont get this watch. There may be an Accutron equivalent, though. I have seen many Bulovas with top movements that never make it to the US. A matter of marketing the two brands.
