    Default Enicar Ultrasonic

Christmas weekend.. out and about.. sign at entrance to Paeroa, New Zealand as being the place for antiques.. this is what I picked up..

100/179 PS on caseback.. apparently 100 for movement 1010, 179 for case style, P for plated, and S for centre seconds..

    Inside...

Gave the dial a bit of a clean using the lemon juice method I have been succesful with before.. almost lost the Enicar logo as it started to float away.. oops, the writing on the dial are decals.. repositioned the logo and let it dry before applying a thin coat of spray lacquer...

    Before..

    After..

    End result...

    Cheers

Nice pic, and the end result looks quite sharp. Thumbs up!

very very nice job on the dial. Will have to use the lemon juice method. I really like that watch and the 25 jeweled movement.

Just wondering, do you dilute the lemon juice?

Lemon straight off the tree.. just a drop at a time.. no rubbing.. just dab..

One guy I know uses spit and finds that works too..
