I just purchased an Engineer II Chronometer Red Label. Other than not setting the day/date between 8 PM and 2 AM, is there anything I need to know about the watch?
Thanks for the suggestions. I wear one watch pretty much 24/7. Right now I have two retired Rolexes, both with dead tritium. Rolex uses Super Luminova for replacement hands and dial markings, so the night show is questionable. With the tritium tubes on the BALL, there is always a night show. I can even brush my teeth in the dark with the BALL. My dental hygienist says to brush each quadrant for 30 seconds. With the tritium tube on the second hand of the BALL, I can do that in the dark.

The Ball watch had a note saying not to set the date during this time window and it is also mentioned in the manual. I've seen this mentioned elsewhere but none of my other watches came with any instructions say not to set the date during that time window.
Follow, those, directions. I accidentally set the date during those hours on my Omega SMP. I need a repair and had a nasty-gram from an Omega watchmaker.
Yes? Assume those instructions are in effect, and get used to the idea of not changing your watch's date anytime around midnight. Do it while you wait for your morning coffee to brew or your lunchtime BLT to arrive, or while you're watching the 5-o'clock news.
