Blue hands down. If I wanted a black dialed chronograph I'd by a Speedmaster.... which is kind of what that black Monaco looks like - a squared off Speedy.
Usually I like to go against the flow, but this time I'm with the crowd. The blue has a very cool history, and seventies style... without the usual seventies style baggage!
...bear in mind, I drive a '75 Lotus elite, so my seventies style and vintage racing "soft spot" is pretty large!
the blue hands down..........not even a contest, if I was in the market for this watch and was at the AD, I wouldn't even have them pull the black one out of the case.
Definitely the blue. Contrasting subdials just work on that one!
