Hi
I'm looking to buy a luxury watch for my father.
People speak about TAG not being as prestigious, why is this?
What marks the different between TAG, Omega and Breitling from a reputation point of view?
Thanks
Just my opinion for what its worth and not in any particular order;
Omega; 5 yr warranty, 2nd only to Rolex in terms of watch brand recognition, identifies more with upscale casual watches
TAG; 2yr warranty, seems to get more inquiries as to whether or not they are 'any good?'; identifies more with upscale 'sports' watches
Breitling; 2 yr warranty, not as recognizable as Omega but every bit as good, identifies more towards a 'professionals' watch
I've sold all three, take a look at Longines. As for TAG, there're the leader of those three for parts falling off, especially chrono pushers. If a
problem comes up, it seems that TAG will take the longest time to try and correct it.
