My father purchased a Longines Flagship 18k solid yellow gold watch in Italy in the early 1970's.
Anyone familiar with this watch?
Any thoughts on a rough value?
A Couple photos below....
Cheers
It's a late 50's or early 60's watch with a caliber30L inside. If it were original, it would be worth $1300 - $1500. However, the dial has been refinished and polished so heavily that the raised relief caseback medallion is getting smooth around the edges (or at least it looks that way in those pictures). Still worth more than the value of the gold though.
