Ready for stitching tomorrow...

Looking forward to seeing how this goes, GM. You and Ladd are doing a great job at pushing me to try this myself. I'll need to start checking ebay for used tools.

Good luck, just don't bid against me!

Stitching is done, burnished the edges. Got some glue drying where one tiny section started to delaminate. Will post pics tomorrow.

Some pics so far. Working on the keeper and am waiting for my rectangle punch, for the buckle holes, to show up in the mail....

Work progresses on the BR02 strap. This piece has a little bit more character and darker color, than the BR01 strap. It is also thinner and has more rustic edges than the BR01 too. Stitching will be closer to the edges.

The update from last nights stitching session. Almost there. Need to notch for the buckle tang and punch square holes, both are pending the arrival of my rectangle punch in today's mail. Then build a keeper, and we're done!

The family, the two on each end are from the same WWII ammo pouch:

And this is the next project. A 26mm strap for the Lum Tec Bull in the middle.

The BR02 on the ammo leather. I think I'm going to have to really treat this strap gently and with some conditioner. It still wants to be somewhat fragile around the edges. Perhaps a bad layout on the piece, when I cut it.
