I'm looking to fit a metal bracelet to my Airboss Mach 6 as I'm looking a change from leather on this one and was wondering who here has tried the SUPER Engineer Type II on any of their watch and how it stack up quality wise.

Looking at that exact same combination. Ordered the watch this week and was looking at the Super Engineer II last night. They have a model to fit the 23mm lugs. Nothing against straps, just prefer bracelets. I like the look of that SEII. edison

^When you get your AirBoss and bracelet please post pictures. I found on google that someone has fitted the AirBoss Mach 4 bracelet to the AirBoss Mach 6 but I don't actually like the built in look of a fitted bracelet much preferring the bracelet to look like an addition but that's just me.

Anyway here's a picture of the proper bracelet just in case you're considering options.

Didn't mean to mislead you. I haven't ordered the SE II yet, just considering it. I would love a proper fitted bracelet, especially after seeing the picture you provided, but if I can't find that the SE II is high on my list.

Got the watch in today. Same color as the watch in your original post, Luminated. My photo is in the What's on your wrist today section. I'll wear it a few days before I decide whether to order the SE II, or similar bracelet, or not. edison

That SuperEngineer Type II is looking like an excellent alternative to the fitted AirBoss Mach 4 bracelet. It's also substantially cheaper. I'm assuming you got the 23mm lug width bracelet since there doesn't seem to be any gap between the lugs and the end link. I have to ask, since I've never fitted a bracelet (sized a ton of them, however) to a watch, was this a pain to slip in there? edison

It's a snug fit but took all of 2 minutes to do. When you remove the leather strap there's two holes for the spring bars, I chose the inner one which made the strap touch the small dent on the case.

One thing I really like about the bracelet is its weight, it balances out the weight of the watch case nicely and the quality is first rate, I'm shocked at this price.... really.

I like it!!! It's nice to have two options, the metal bracelet and the leather one. You need a blue strap to match it with the screen now!!

Luminated, I ordered the 23mm SEII from Strapcode. Didn't realize they were in Hong Kong! LOL The original strap is fine, I'm just used to bracelets. edison

If you are use to OEM bracelets then you will be surprised by the quality of this one, it's a solid bit of kit and very comfortable. If I buy another watch in the near future which comes without a bracelet I know where to look (Strapcode) and what to buy (SEII).

Value doesn't come any better than this.

Find me a 23mm Blue leather strap and I would seriously consider it.

Luminated, my SuperEngineer II for my AirBoss 6 finally came in. Ordered from Hong Kong, but shipped from New Jersey. I did order the 23mm lug width model. Had to use the outside holes as I just couldn’t get the endlinks to mate with the inside holes. I did use the heavy duty spring bars which came with the bracelet. I definitely needed the spring bar tool I had also ordered.
I needed to remove a link from each side and use the two adjustment holes in the dual deployant clasp. I just realized the model they show on the website has a divers safety clasp. In any case, I was able to get the fit I like.

Glad you like it, I personally find it very comfortable and hope you do too. It has made me fall in love with my AirBoss all over again and I'm now wearing it to work everyday.

Mystery solved. Strapcode does offer both types of clasps. I didn't scroll far enough down on the list to see the other choice. No worries, though, my dual deployant works for me. Again, thanks for the tip. edison

Luminated... What an odd number strap 23mm. I guess the only option of doing blue will be a custom strap. Have you seen the work from Rob Montana, the strap smith?

I've seen discovered that quite a few brands use the 23mm tug space though independent strap manufacturers for this are few and far between. To be honest with you I much prefer my new bracelet on the Airboss than the original leather strap, finding it not only more comfortable but suits the dimensions of the watch much better.

It's replaced my Nite MX100-300T as my new daily watch.

Luminated: where do I buy the properly fitted steel bracelet like the one you posted above (the photo with the "Right Time" water mark) for the Victorinox Swiss Army Air Boss Mach 6 Red Dial Chronograph Watch? Thanks.

Google the Total Watch Repair Co. Swiss Army AirBoss Extra Large Stainless Steel Watch Bracelet.
Hope this doesn't break the rules.
