Rousseau does "higher end watches" ? Really? Just about every one I've ever seen sells for under $125 and most for well under $100. I would consider them inexpensive fashion watches and the best review I've seen of them on You Tube was entitled "Rousseau Watches - I Review Crap!" (

I noted one of the responses at the bottom of that review which pretty much sums it up; "These sort of watches are for people that don't know much about watches. They put up a website with ridiculous prices, then turn around and sell them via outlets like "Home Shopping Channel" and online boutique stores (Probably with very nice boxes) at a fraction of the website price. Those they can't sell are sold in lots (near actual production cost) to inventory management companies who sell them for as much as they can get via Amazon/eBay... I've watched this particular watch slowly drop price on eBay from $30 to $6 over 6 months. Even at that price the final seller made SOME profit... scary!"

Do I like them? ]You couldn't pay me to own one! Along with the informative site mentioned by Mike, The Ebay Community also has some unkind words to share with consumers....
Rousseau is a sleazy watch company, and the horology community deserves to know what their dollars (or whatever) are getting them.

Here's hoping Rousseau disappears soon.

They look like the cheap Omega wrist watch one of my contacts at a dealership service department gave me last year. the numbers fell off, the band fell apart quickly, it did keep decent time. I had to re-glued the numbers. I think I sold it for about $5 at a mart rotten band and all. The time it took to re-glue the numbers was worth more than the watch. Avoid like the Covid-19.
