Looks great, now was that new or used for $330? If new, that looks like an even better deal. 38mm case?

It was new for $330 from Amazon( looks like it is no longer available on Amazon?). That's the problem with new watches. They come and go quickly sometimes. :confused1: This one Weighs 92.1g/ 3.35oz. Case diameter is about 38mm.

My bad, it was Euros...not $, so roughly $200-205. Shipped from overseas.

Lume is pretty good, I'll try to get a pic.

Yeah, would love to see the lume on that. Never had a German watch so that one is definitely on the radar now.

When I am in a place that requires time keeping but would possible ruin a vintage watch, I put this Casio on. It's my only atomic/solar time keeping piece left. I used to have 1/2 dozen but thinned the herd a bit. It's a WVA-470 but isn't readily available anymore. It's very light weight and for the size, quite comfortable. It was about $90.00 a few years ago.

MontTex. Your pics sure do make the watches come alive.:thumbup1: I have viewed several online in various sales locations and they just don't look as good until viewing your pics. I have a few saved just in case I have a watch withdrawal.

Thanks for the kind words Spaceview M2. It's a nice affordable. I got mine a couple of years back from Creationwatches for $144 shipped.
There is the newer version Ray Raven II that even hacks and hand-wind, no more 2nd crown at 2'oclock though. Some are bothered by the 2'oclock crown but I think it's unique.
I appreicate the clear, crisp easy to read dial.

Can we ask what lens you use to take your watch photos??

The photos are extremely crisp & clear for a point & shoot. Do you use photo-shop or is that how they come out on their own?

It comes in only one lens, it's a point and shoot camera. Olympus TG-3 Tough. A waterproof point and shoot camera for my outdoorsy activities.
I really like it, it's portable, uncomplicated and takes good enough pictures for my needs. Good value as well, paid $295 for it while I was in Puerto Rico 3 years ago diving and snorkeling.
It's the only camera I use, for everything.

Takes nice underwater pictures......

I try to limit my editing, mostly cropping and using borders. It's a very good camera.

Here's mine! Way less than $500 and has a Ceramic bezel and SW200 movement. Hard to beat. I couldn't believe I got it below $500.

There are some great pieces out there for under $500 and especially Deep Blue right now with that Cyber sale they have. Heck I took advantage of it and have a watch that should cost well above $500 for well less. I'll post here every piece I get for less than $500. I have another that will arrive soon from Zelos that I will be glad to post. I see more action here than on the general discussion forum board which was where I posted my new Deep Blue initially. I got maybe 3 responses so I decided to check out this board. What going on with all here ? Everything okay and fun? I'm all for posting and interacting which is what a forum is to me. I've been a member of WUS since 2006. One of the reasons I don't post there as often is that there are too many members and your post will get lost in a second literally unless it's a awesome thread starter. I came here thinking less members more interaction. Hope all is cool. Seems like a great community.

Thanks for participating Dconn1975. That's a nice piece, congratulations. I don't own a Deep Blue watch but haven't heard anything bad about it. It's a bit big for my smaller wrist or it would easily be on my wanted list. Is that an after market bracelet you got on that piece? Looks solid and robust all around.:thumbup1:

Hi thank you for the kind and cool words. Yes deep blues wear pretty large. Thankfully I can pull them off. The bracelet is a Strapcode Super Engineer II. It's a awesome bracelet. Kind of expensive but well worth it.

Is this watch seriously an affordable that's $500 or less? Was there some kind of incredible sale when you acquired this watch? Did you buy this used for $500 or less?
Go to deep blue and type in cyber as the promo code and if you do it before the 21st you'll get it for $359 or so. Yes it was brand new. I paid $449 for mine. Legit. Yes definitely below $500. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170217/bc92845d713453754455abed833f20ff.jpg

Dconn1975, nice get there all around and thank you for sharing the tip. I was asking about the C. Ward Trident Pro diver that ddavidsonmd posted. Nice watch indeed but I question the legitimacy of it being a $500 less timepiece.

The Deep Blue I have or the other model? If mine go to deep blue and add it to your cart then type in CYBER in the promo section and 40 percent off will be applied. It's a huge savings if you are in the market. That goes for all their pieces. Mine is regular $899 but sold for $599 but with discounts you can get for $359. Huge savings.

For the deep blue deep star to have a ceramic bezel sapphire crystal and a SW200 movement under $500 is unbelievable.

In the year 1961, Hindustan Machine Tool Company set up a watch manufacturing Unit at Bangalore in collaboration with M/s Citizen Watch Co., Japan. The first batch of Hand Wound Wrist Watches manufactured here was released by the then Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru. The most popular mechanical hand-wound watch is HMT Janata. There are also other mechanical watches like HMT Pilot, HMT Jhalak (Semi Skeletal), HMT Sona, HMT Braille.

HMT Janata.

HMT Braille watch for visually impaired

The semi-skeletal HMT Jhalak.

HMT watches manufactured this skeleton watch based on 8N24 movement.
In 1972, HMT expanded its watch manufacturing capacity with a set up alongside the Bangalore Factory to manufacture additional watches. In 1975, Watch factory at Bangalore was further expanded to manufacture Main Spring, Hair spring and Shock absorber components.[5]

HMT set up additional manufacturing facilities to produce watch components sets at Tumkur and Ranibagh in the year 1978 and 1985 respectively. Watch factory at Tumkur was partially converted to manufacture Quartz Analog Watches in collaboration with M/S Citizen Watch Co, Japan. To cater to the Niche mark

The 18kt Accutron had to come off this afternoon to allow for some work in the garage so we are going with my old Trusty Atomic Solar Casio Wave cepter. For what its worth, I really like this Casio. Lightweight, comfortable and not too big. I think I have had it 5+ years now. :thumbup1:
