Default Help me choose between this Tag Heuer Aquaracer and Reymond Weil please!

Hello dear friends, I finally decided to get a new watch and after lots of browsing came to these two options, however my knowledge is not so deep and thorough as some of the members here who understand quite a lot so I'm just kindly asking for some advice on which one is better and why....

Tag Heuer : WAY201B.BA0927 Aquaracer Calibre 5, Blue Dial. http://www.tagheuer.com/en/watches/a...way201b-ba0927
Retail Price: 2650$, I can find it for 1650$

Reymond Weil : 2760-ST3-50001 Freelancer, Blue Dial
Retail Price: 1950$, I can hopefully find it for 1230$ https://raymond-weil.com/en/product/...760-st3-50001/

Both have ceramic bezels. Looks wise I prefer the bracelet on RW,
What do you think about the mechanisms? I can't really find info about the RW one, but do you think it's comparable to Calibre 5?
Honestly, looks wise I'm inclined to Reymond Weil, I even tried it already and it looks amazing, however the Tag is not far behind, but what about value, re-sale value, quality, brand name etc...
What should I do? Which one is better and is the Tag Heuer really worth 420$ more than the RW?

    Thank you! :)

I dont think you will get hurt by either one of those watches. Just for the record though, my visual preference is the Raymond Weil but the Tag will likely hold its resale value better than the RW.

Agreed. Whether justified or not, the TAG holds an edge on resale value.
Despite TAGHeuer saying it uses its Caliber 5 movement, it is nothing more than a movement made by ETA....the same movement that the Raymond Weil uses!
Both companies are also even when it comes to the quality of the case.
It even sounds like both watches use the same type of diving clasp on their bracelets.

It all boils down to what's important TO YOU! Do you want to save money and go for the less costly watch?
Or do you really like the looks of one over the other? Your choice.

Well, if that's the case I would go for the visual preference which is for the RW, love the bezel and the simplicity.
If it's the same quality, why pay 400$ more....for the more famous name?

For me, it would be the Tag. They are a tried and true dive watch manufacturer. That particular Tag is the model that currently calls my name!
    Good luck with your decision!
