    Default Hamilton 1941 "Endicott

This is my pride and joy find for Hamilton Watches. I posted it over two years ago but at that time the Hamilton forum was not avalibble. This watch is mint.

Hamilton 1941 "Endicott". They made this model for years the 1941 was the last model of this type they made. After 1941 Hamilton did not put out a catalog till 1947. During that time they were focused on the war effort making watches and clocks for the military.

The watch was in good near mint condition just need some light clean-up on the case and dial. The movement I did not touch and it runs great keeps very good time. Not bad for a watch over 76 years old. The band and the buckle were original, however the band was stiff and dry rotted. The band I have on there right now is temporary and I have on order one that closely matches the original.

Buy vintage or new, that's the question?
