    Default Swiss watch needs identification

Picked this up in a group at an estate sale. No numbers in the case. Looking to see what it is and worth.

Looks like a Victorinox / Swiss Army watch. My guess on value would be $50-$100 depending on whether it runs & keeps time. Ebay is your best source for values.

You're not even going to photograph it sitting on a ruler to give us an idea of its size???
    That's $50-100 assuming it's a man's watch. Victorinox also made/makes ladies models.
If that's the case, the value is closer to $30=$70

Bill, you know as well as I do that we're lucky to get even one small picture from single posters n00bs asking about the authenticity and/or value of a watch.

    Yeah, D. I know.....but I've always been a bit of a cockeyed optimist.

It looks as though it may have a Radium lume dial and hands, so be careful with it.

Exactly. Radium wasn't used after Tritium became popular (late 50's / early 60's), which was subsequently replaced by SuperLuminova. That watch is too modern to use radium lume.

I don't even think that is a Victorinox. They have been making watches for what, 20 years or less? Or it has been run through the ringer. Better pictures and how about moving the hands so we can see the name ; )
