    Default Polishing

    Hi There...1st post!!

I have had my Chronomat Evolution for 5 years and would like to have watch and stainless steel strap polished. Anyone recommend anywhere in UK and approx what this would cost??

Ps Watch is in great condition but just want to polish out very minor scratches on strap?

    Hi Mate,

Do it yourself. Get a good quality metal polish either from a hardware or an auto accessory shop follow the directions and it will be like new. I would try something like Autosol paste and then a fine polish cloth like a Cape Cod cloth. (Available from a distributor or the net).

Any areas you dont want polished simply avoid or mask off as neccessary, when finished give the whole watch a scrub with a nail brush and some liquid hand soap to get all the grit and dirt out of all the little nooks and crannies. There is no need to wet too much only enough to get the soap working and when finished to wash the soap off.

    Cheers
    Regards Aaron.
