    My Watchbox

Default I LOVE my new Panerai but....

Is it possible I'm wearing it too much? I don't take off my watch unless the strap is going to get wet. My other watches don't get any wrist time anymore. I'm planning on putting the rubber strap on my Base and wearing it all summer. Am I crazy or is this normal paneristi behaviour? Does anyone actually swim with these dive watches or are they just for show?

This is my most expensive watch but I don't want to keep it in a safe and of course I don't want to damage it.

    Any feedback would be great!

    Thanks,

    Paul

Its a normal thing to wear your pam all the time and if you want to swim in a pool just slap on that rubber strap and your good to go. But take it off if you plan on scuba diving. Just enjoy the heck out of it.

Getting your first PAM is a great moment! Mine seems to get nearly all the wrist time! The rest of my watches are jealous

As for the swimming/diving question a lot ristis swin with their PAMS. Rubber Strap all the way for that!

I'm planning on getting a 243 Submersible. Why do you say to take it off for scuba diving; isn't this what Panerai's are designed for?

not all Pams are designed for diving they have limitations, a sub is more suitable for diving, but that really depends on how deep you go just look at the manuals, and that is just my personal opinion, heck I don't really care if you take it off or not, if you want to wear an expensive watch when you dive then that's your decision to make.

Wear your PAM all you want. Not taking it off the wrist is normal. The more beat up and banged up it is, the better it looks. Diving? Wear the Pam Sub.

Does anybody else wear their watch at night? That is what you mean by all the time right? My g-shock gets a little wrist time when I don't want to take chances with my baby, I mean watch!

    Have a great day!
