I am looking for a dress watch. I've been thinking of Portofino IW356302. I would appreciate to hear from anybody that owns it. I like its simplicity and 39 mm size. The design seems timeless to me. Like it is not driven by curent trends. Since the movement 30110 inside (an upgraded ETA) is also used in Mark XV I hope there are plenty of people with experiences. Accuracy? I figure, it would be good to hear out those that know before spending.

There are not many Portofino sightings here, which is a bit surprising. It's a very nice watch! I am not sure yet whether I like the current version better than the older one that was 38 mm and had 'straight' hands though.

    Kind regards,

    Cinq

I think I would give a slight preference to the newer model. Sword hands add to its classic look. I don't know the exact figures but I guess a reason for lack of interest for this kind of watches could be that people buy more big sport watches than dress watches.
