    Default New Bracelet

I was wondering if anyone has been able to try on a Panerai that was sporting the newly designed bracelet. Are they even out yet? I currently have an 00050 with a bracelet and have to say that I love the watch but the edges can be a bit sharp on the bracelet. Let me know.

Yes, I tried on a Panerai (sorry, can't recall which model it was) at the Panerai event that I went to recently (see my thread about it in this section). Excellent and VERY comfy bracelet!

Some models with the new bracelet are out. From a comfort standpoint the new bracelet is better. However, IMO, the form of the previous bracelet is better. It is very distinct and echos the shape of the crown guard in the links. The new bracelet is very ordinary looking IMO.

I see where you are coming from Beef. I really do like the design of the old bracelet, but the feel is a little off putting but not to the extent that I would ever get rid of my Pan.

    Harry,

I have the same model as you do but mine only says "L Swiss L" at the bottom. Do you know when they changed that?

Sorry - I don't know when that changed.

Mine is a "J" serial - what serial is yours?

    All the best,

O, I think I have spotted the problem. Is yours the 44mm version? Because mine also does not say "Automatic." I guess a lot has changed with the model since I bought mine 3 or 4 years ago. Sorry, but I'm not sure what my serial letter is.

Your serial letter will be on the case back (where I have blanked mine out) e.g. "J100 / 500" would make it a "J" serial.

Yes, this is the Panerai 220 - the 44mm Luminor Marina Automatic.

    Hope that helps!

    All the best,

    Harry
