To me it's the simplicity that speaks so loudly. How about you?

Definately, I feel the same. Also, the crown protector on the Luminor series, classic.

The big crystal,, that over all look is amazing on the 088 and the big leather straps that accentuate the ambiance.

It's already been said, but my favorite thing is the crown protector on the Luminors and my second favorite thing are the models with sandwich dials... I'm partial to the 111, but all the sandwich dials look great.

No crown protector and no samich dial on my 98
I like the legible dial and also the retro look of old Rolex cushion
watches - but now in a modern SS case with sapphire and (to me)
very useful GMT and Alarm complication.

Easy - all the crazy people that come along with them!

But if MUST talk about the watch I'd say the simplicity of design is what most attracted me to the brand.

Looks like everyone already beat me to it, but the clean dial which is very easy to read. I also like the history behind the manufacturer, making watches for the Italian Navy. Good stuff.

The second thing I like most about Panerai is the vast selection of straps. OMG, it's an entire industry built around this brand. (Hiding my credit cards right now).
