Thread: I think someone at the ABC Network must be a Rolex Fan.....

Default I think someone at the ABC Network must be a Rolex Fan.....

This fall I've been watching two show on ABC - NO ORDINARY FAMILY, and the award winning MODERN FAMILY.

On MODERN FAMILY, I've seen the character of Jay Pritchett (Ed O'Neill) wearing a 16610 Submariner several times (nearly every episode) and even saw him wearing a white dial Daytona Jay 116520 on last week's episode!

NO ORDINARY FAMILY is new, and I'm not entirely sure it's going to make it, but Michael Chiklis's character Jim Powell also wears what appears to be a 16610 Submariner in the series. I kinda looks out of place on his character though.

It's always fun to "Rolex spot" on TV shows....seems like there are a lot of opportunities to do so these days!

Hey John I've posted this before, but I love the show Pawn Stars on history channel and they all wear Rolex Sub dates. The funny thing is, when they bring in the experts to evaluate items, it seems like they all wear submariners too!

Hey...what's not to like about a Submariner!

Charlie wears a Yacht-Master on nearly every episode. They've actually had a couple of episodes where a Rolex watch plays a key plot point.

Nothing beats the episode with Alan playing with his No Date Sub!

    Default Charlie Sheen watch collection

It has been reported that Charlie Sheen has a multi-million dollar watch collection. I read that in his divorce settlement it was agreed that the watches would not be part of the negotiations.

I heard that to, the collection is worth around 5 million. That is a huge number and yet it pales in comparison to John Mayer's supposed 20 million dollar collection.

Where are you guys hearing about these watch collections? I never hear anything about celebrity watch collections.

I do seem to recall that John Mayer got robbed a few years ago - lost some vintage Rolex models in the process I think.
