Default Got snow pics from the "2010 Storm of the Century" today? Here's my Daytona pics :o)

A Daytona is out for a walk in the neighborhood - we got about 33 inches of snow with taller drifts. Some areas got over 40". Definitely not the norm for this area of the country

Lots of work for someone, tomorrow

    Snow on roof

    Deep snow

The lake in front of our home

    Cool mailbox

C'mon out you guys. Help me shovel!

Path in front of our house

Our picket fence bested by the snow

Yours truly 1/2 way through the shovel out...

We need a 3 car garage

    Getting there...

    So much snow...

We've never had snow blow up on the door before

    Front

    My wheels...

    Before I started shoveling

Yikes! I have to shovel that out?

    The back

    Back yard

    What mailbox of ours?

Strange shapes on our back stairs

    In the snow

    Front porch

    More shapes

Got pics of your own, my fellow East Coasters in the DC area from today? Post them here!

Thanks for looking. It was a labor of love.

Thanks. It's so sunny out today that the reflections are blinding. We won't get out of our neighborhood for a while and friends that live in other areas say their 36" drifts haven't been plowed yet. They won't get out for a week!

I'm sure glad we don't get snow in Minnesota.

Here's a couple pics of my back deck after we got a few inches last week...

    Awesome photos.
Now that is what I call a snowfall.
If we got snow like that, we wouldn't move for weeks!!!!

No Rolex pics, but just a few to show that not EVERYONE see heavy snowfall as a bad thing.....

Hey...what's all this white stuff on the deck?

    This is fun!

You guys wear yourselves out....I'm just going to pick a cool spot to lay down...

Ohhhh no you don't....you don't get off that easy!

What do I do after I've been rolling around in the snow? Why shake it off of course!

C'mon Dad...put that camera down and get out here and PLAY!!

I know. We're expecting another 10-20 inches tomorrow night into Wednesday. This isn't Colorado, it's just DC! Arghhh! My back's already messed up from 5-6 hours of heavy duty shoveling. Today I was hacking at ice with a steel shovel to break it up at the end of our driveway area and flagstones around the house. I'd never get a snowblower... I could use that same $600 towards, another Rolex one day.
